I had decided on my own that this was the year I was going to tackle homemade Christmas candy. I have fond memories of everyone at my Grandma Lish's house making candy every year. There was this old fashioned hand crank nut grinder that everyone would fight over to grind up the walnuts for the fudge. Good times. Anyway when Hailey got a whiff of what I was planning she decided that she would come up with Zach on Friday so she could help me on Saturday. We literally cooked all day. It was fun but a little overwhelming. I think next year I'll tone it down a smidge.
