The kids are in Idaho this week. My mom usually likes to take them for a week when Xander is off track from school. Anyone with young children knows how hard it is to get out much, especially when you have working mom guilt like I do. Steven and I always try to take advantage and see a movie that we've been wanting to see.
The members of the Ross household are HUGE supporters of anything Joss Whedon does. Heck we even named our son after a character in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so that should tell you something. So when we heard earlier this year that Cabin In The Woods (which Joss wrote and directed) was finally going to be released in theaters it went right to the top of our must see list.
It was really good. I love movies that I can't predict what the end will be. It drives Steven nuts that nine times out of ten I totally call the ending to movies. Heidi and Nate had seen the movie already and warned us that it ends a little weird. I still didn't really see the end coming. The humor in it was spot on. It was a little bloodier then I love my movies to be, but all in all a great evening. Yay Joss! Next up the Avengers, which he wrote the screen play for!

Yeah Zach always always can guess the endings of movies, tv, shows, books, etc. and it drives me nuts! GRR
