This is the first year in a while we weren't having a ton of family over at our house and honestly I was pretty bummed. Laura and I decided on the spur of the moment to combine out Christmas Eve traditions and hang out at their house.
We brought the cheese, crackers and appetizers that we always have.

All the kids get new pajamas
We always open a gift on Christmas Eve, usually it is the draw name exchange with my family. Since we didn't have any family around this year we let the kids each choose a gift that they wanted to open.
Xander's was a minecraft sword and Paizley got a Disney princess paper doll set.
