Grand Canyon

Heidi was in charge of the Lish Extravaganza this year, so naturally we had it in Tucson.  We drove down in two cars, Grammy, Boppy, our kids and the Larson clan rode in Hailey and Zach's new van and Steven and I drove the Hyundai.  Heidi decide she didn't want to miss out on the road trip fun and flew up to drive back with us.  It was a pretty fun trip minus one mishap where we got separated in the middle of nowhere with no cell reception and had to figure out how to meet back up and having a bugger of a time finding our hotel for the night (and the hotel lady ticking my dad off), overall it was great.

We can't go anywhere without the ducky blanket!  So we turned her into super Paiz

Our road trips always have a theme.  This one was christened the Mustache tour.  We tried to take every picture with the mustache in it.  We did pretty good for the first day.

Heidi is planning her visit to the Grand Canyon

Heading out to the overlook

Amazing

Steven would freak out every time the kids even looked at the edge

Xander appreciating the view

Comiccon Fanx

Salt Lake went from zero Comicons to two a year, which I think is a little crazy but of course we went.
Xander and Paizley listening to Gangnam style (of course) while we wait to be let in

Steven is very excited

We let each of the kids get a glitter tattoo.

Paizley got a pink Ariel

Xander got a gold Halo 4 logo
Steven has worn this shirt to both Cons

Julie Benz aka Darla from Buffy.  She was super nice she talked to Paizley for like five minutes

We met this girl in line who was cosplaying as Elsa from Frozen so of course Paizhad to get her picture taken with her
Julie Benz's panel
We weren't going to let Paizley do this but she insisted.  Xander wasn't so sure he wanted to touch the snake at all
She loved it!
Now she wants a pet snake

These mermaids were over in the kids section.

Kenny D, Brendon Cook and Chunga at the paranormal panel

Some of the haunted items they brought.  The doll was from a children's hospital and would move around on it's own.

Spoons from the Amityville horror house

The statue of the little boy apparently popped it's own head off

Nazi paraphernalia

James Marsters, Spike from Buffy.  This was the highlight of the three days, Steven even paid for his autograph

Easter

The kids wend to Idaho for spring break this year.  I went up the Sunday before Easter to pick them up so we dyed Easter eggs and had an egg hunt.

Paizley had a fight with the ground and lost

Easter morning the bunny came and left a pretty good haul
