#4 - Plant A Garden

When we bought our house eleven years ago we always planned to plant a garden.  The only thing it neither Steven nor I are very out doorsy people, plus we tend to lean toward lazy, not to mention the fun that is pregnancy for me.  Needless to say it's never happened and the area we had set aside for it is a lovely mess of weeds.  I made Steven help me one Saturday get all the weeds pulled out.

I thought this first year that we would plant a variety of things to see what we like and what works for us.  These are the things I chose 

 

 

Living in Utah we have to start some things early because of the short growing season

One of the requirements for scouts it to help plant something.  I made Xander plant the peppers to pass it off.

 

So a few days after all this sprouted Yoshi climbed up and ate all the leaves of 90% of my plants. So ticked! I guess I will be buying tomato plants this year, but I will be prepared next year.
