After the cemetery we decided to go downtown to see the lights at Temple Square. The Utah county extension of Frontrunner was opening that weekend and if you brought cans of food for the Utah food bank you could ride it for free. Even though it was cold we bundled up and drove over to the American Fork station.
The train was really crowded. It was standing room only and everyone had to get super cozy.
Paizley and Steven
Tommy, Sadie and Xander
Lucie, Luke and Laura
Laron
We arrived at the Lehi station and then ended up sitting there for almost 25 minutes. We got very close to bailing several times but held on and after that the stops were only a couple of minutes at each station.

After we got off Frontrunner we transferred to Trax in the free ride zone over to Temple Square
The Chick-fil-a Santa cow was handing out sandwiches at Temple Square

I think it's cool how you can tell it's snowing in these pictures
The reflection pool. I love how they do the floating candles
The trip home was much less eventful and we made it in plenty of time for Steven to make it to work. He was pretty tired the next day but I think it was worth it.
