It's Official

So I guess I am officially part of the Orem team now.  I received my name plaque to hang on my cubicle.  I told the controller that she won't be getting rid of me now.

Jinju's Blessing

Last weekend the kids and I went to Idaho to watch Ryan bless his baby.  He decided to do it in our home ward instead of in his home Korean ward.  Steven stayed home because he had to work, having to arrange things around working on the weekends is going to take some getting used to.

We had a luncheon at our ward building after church.  It's nice because recently Inkom built another building so my parent's ward has a building all to it's self.

Tweleve Days Of Christmas

So someone in our neighborhood has started doing the twelve days of Christmas for us.  They are ridiculously into it.  They have been very creative so far and I think Steven has enjoyed getting the gifts every night more than the kids.  He has been trying to bust whoever it is.

#51 - See Temple Square Lights In December

December 8th was a pretty busy day, not only was it our anniversary but it was sweet Bethanie's birthday.  Laron and Laura were gracious enough to include us in her celebration.  We let balloons go and ate angel food cupcakes at the cemetery.  It was a very sweet experience to remember a little girl who barely got to live.  There were some tears and some laughter but overall there was a great feeling of love. I'm sure Bethanie was there with us.

After the cemetery we decided to go downtown to see the lights at Temple Square.  The Utah county extension of Frontrunner was opening that weekend and if you brought cans of food for the Utah food bank you could ride it for free.  Even though it was cold we bundled up and drove over to the American Fork station.

The train was really crowded.  It was standing room only and everyone had to get super cozy.

We arrived at the Lehi station and then ended up sitting there for almost 25 minutes.  We got very close to bailing several times but held on and after that the stops were only a couple of minutes at each station.

After we got off Frontrunner we transferred to Trax in the free ride zone over to Temple Square

The trip home was much less eventful and we made it in plenty of time for Steven to make it to work.  He was pretty tired the next day but I think it was worth it.

12 Years

December 8, 2012 was our twelve year anniversary.  I can't believe it's been that long, I swear time has been in fast forward.  I love my Steven Ross very much and I can't wait to spend another twelve years with him.  He's a great husband and father.  I love his sense of humor and his passion about things I couldn't care less about.  I think spending more time apart has really made me appreciate him more.

Paizley Jayne Turns 4 Part Two

When Paizley was in Idaho between her birthday and Thanksgiving my Mom and Heidi had another little party for her.  I wasn't there so I don't know much about what was going on in the pictures but I thought they were super cute.

And A Yoshi In A Pear Tree

The week after Thanksgiving I had Steven root the Christmas decorations out of the basement.  I love Christmas time, it always makes me feel super festive when we finally are able to put up the decorations.

We have a fake tree.  The first couple of years we were married we did the real tree thing.  I hate having to clean up after it and the mess that is getting rid of the tree after Christmas.  It took a couple of years but I have successfully converted Steven to the wiles of a fake tree.

Classic Steven exasperated look.  We had three strings of lights and they were all half burned out.  We ended up having to buy new strands.  Steven was super vicious.

Sweet kitty

Yoshi kept it interesting by attacking anyone that came near the cat tree

She looks so innocent until you get through the thin sweet layer to the rotten.

Giant pile of turd Ferguson

I don't know if you can tell, but she is actually sharpening her monkey teeth on the tree branch.  Yoshi has officially taken up residence in our tree.  She will climb up to the top, shimmy out on the branch and knock off the ornaments from the top.  Also she burrows under the tree and gnaws on the presents.  I swear she is half goat.
