So I've been trying to take the bus to work since I transferred to Orem. Steven gets home from Walmart at about 6:45 and I have to leave at 6:53 to catch the bus. Needless to say I've been batting about fifty percent actually making it. This morning I was able to get in front of the bus on the way to the park and ride and once I parked there may have been some running involved but I did manage to successfully board the bus.
There always seems to be an overabundance of UVU students in the morning so by the time I get on the bus it's standing room only. Which would be fine if I was a few inches taller and grabbing the bar was a little more comfortable. Anyway we get about .4 seconds down the freeway this morning, lights start flashing and this alarm is going off. Yes the bus broke down and we had to wait a half hour for another one to show up. The bus driver did manage to get us to the next offramp so we weren't on the freeway. Let me tell you what a great start that was to my Monday morning. Bah!!
